He realized he was never a sketchbook
type of guy that is why he never kept one, while doing most
of his drawings unplanned on loose paper, cardboard, and on
paper randomly. He found the perfect tool when he got his
first computer. Starting out with an interest in 3D art he
took a different path when he got introduced to 2d design
and drawing programs, especially after browsing through the
Photoshop 3.0 Bible that his brother had purchased for him.
Knowing that he did not have patience to build and model in
3D, he fell in love with graphic design, and did most of his
work for print and the web.
Sometime during his early twenties his innocence in art was
corrupted by society and his spontaneous way of thinking,
and especially after hanging around with the avant garde artist
Vadim Grinberg. While under these influences he managed to
analyze what he saw and felt and poured it all through a funnel
onto any surface he could get his hands on. However the problem
was that he never really found a way to bond creativity with
consistency, so he started to heighten concept over technicality
and rhythm, and decided to display sentences and fragments
rather than stories in his personal work.
In Conclusion he realized that art does not have to be pretty
and commonly visually appealing only to the mass public, it
is the handful of people that he was after who would relate
to his artwork on a personal level. So in essence and to cut
this short, he is down with the underground and continues
to shape his ideas and philosophy in art as he grows.
He joined Norik's Art Studio in 2007 and continues to teach
Graphic Design.
